Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University succeeded in entering the 601–800 band worldwide for the first time in the Education Studies category in the 2026 Times Higher Education Subject Rankings.

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) achieved significant success in the 2026 World University Subject Rankings announced by the international higher education rating organization Times Higher Education (THE).

MAKÜ, included in the ranking for the first time in the Education Studies category, succeeded in being placed in the 601–800 band worldwide. With this achievement, MAKÜ became one of the 39 universities from Turkey that managed to enter the ranking in this field.

This result reveals that the academic performance and international visibility of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in the field of education are increasingly strengthening, while also consolidating the university's position on a global scale.
